Let patients easily aggregate all their medical records online from different providers and health plans--viewable in one single interface.

Provide patients with access to their online medical records sourced from your EHR and allow them to combine health information from multiple sources, including their own user-generated data. With Bridge, patients can view their medical records online, including conditions, medications, procedures, lab/imaging results, and more, all through a single user interface. Personal health records from EHRs and labs can be found alongside patient-reported data from wearables or self-assessments. Data can flow bidirectionally between the portal and your source system(s), with the option to review information before adding it to your EHR/PM/RCM.

Nearly three-quarters of patients said that if it was easy to electronically access their own healthcare data, it would improve their understanding of their health and patient-to-physician communication.

Increase patient collaboration & loyalty

Give patients more control and understanding of their health with a secure medical records portal that can be accessed online at any time through a web browser or their mobile device. Providers can collaborate with patients on their medical records and view who added information with Bridge’s user log.

Save staff time & enable faster processes

Having staff share medical records with patients can be cumbersome and frustrating without a patient portal. Recording patient clinical history during a visit can also be a waste of time. Easily collect this information before a patient comes in for an appointment and allow the physician to quickly decide what data will be added to the EHR.

Advance interoperability

CMS and ONC released the final rules for interoperability under the 21st Century Cures Act that mandates payers and providers begin sharing data via application programming interfaces (APIs) as early as July 1, 2021. Make sure you’re giving patients access to their information electronically with a medical records portal and that you’re in compliance with the law before then.

Strengthen caregiver participation

18% of individuals accessing an online medical record are a medical caregiver. Bridge allows caregivers to add information about patients or family members’ medical history, with the appropriate logging for HIPAA compliance.

Seamless EHR/PM Integrations

EHR Agnostic

Bridge currently interfaces with many EHR, PM, or RCM systems and can work with any HL7 or API enabled system.

Does Bridge support the age of majority regulations?

Bridge is able to configure a client’s instance to support the age of majority regulations for their state(s). Parental access to a child’s account after age of majority has been triggered will be blocked, unless granted to the parent by the healthcare organization, or the child, after they have established their own logins.

Does Bridge support proxy managed accounts for dependents?

Yes, Bridge supports proxy patient portal access. Parents can manage an account for their children, provided that their children are under the age of 18 or the age of majority in their state. Modeled after recognizable social media applications, parents can intuitively toggle between the profiles of their children. This feature clearly displays which child’s information the parent may be viewing, allowing the parent to manage his/her child’s appointments, prescription requests, and online medical records with ease. Bridge also has a built-in age of majority software that automatically disconnects a child for a parent’s account when the child reaches the age of majority. Parents can send messages on behalf of their child, and restrictions for sensitive information are supported.
